He is from Bangladesh, where my best friend's family is from. I recently read something by him that I liked as well: "I have spent my days stringing and unstringing my instrument while the song I came to sing remains unsung."
Also, I think you might like this board game we have called 'Wise and Otherwise.' The Reader (who everyone takes turns being) reads the first part of a quote (they are old quotes from all over the world), and the other players have to make up their own endings while the Reader writes the real one down. The quotes are all shuffled together, and the Reader reads them aloud and players have to guess which is the real one. Players get points for choosing the correct one or having their own chosen. It's a really amusing game because people tend to write down funny things, and it's hard to keep a straight face!
